Google SAML
Log in to ReadMe using Google SAML
Connect Google Workspace as a SAML SSO provider so members of your organization authenticate with Google Workspace and access your ReadMe projects.
You'll need ReadMe IDP info as part of the set up. Instructions on finding IDP configuration values are here.
Create a Google SAML App
Start by adding a new custom SAML app in the Google Admin console.
- Visit admin.google.com and go to Apps > Web and mobile apps > Add app > Add custom SAML app.
- Enter a name for the app. You can use the ReadMe logomark as the app logo: ReadMe logomark
Configure SAML Settings
Next, map your Google SAML app to the SAML configuration ReadMe generated for your connection.
- Enter the SSO URL and Entity ID from your ReadMe dashboard.

- Set up the attribute mappings.

Enable Access
Finally, turn the app on for the Teammates who should be able to log in through Google Workspace.
- Click Edit Service, then enable the app for everyone, or for the subset of users you want to have access to your ReadMe dashboard.

Your Teammates can now log in to ReadMe with their Google Workspace credentials.
