Control your team's access to your ReadMe projects
Your ReadMe Enterprise account distinguishes between two kinds of users: Teammates and End Users. This User Management section covers access control for teammates. Alternatively, see End User Access to set up authentication for your end users.
Teammates
Teammates are the people on your team who write, review, and publish documentation. Every teammate has a role, like Owner, Admin, or Editor, that determines what they can see and change across your Group and its projects.
End Users
End Users are the readers of your documentation. They don't need a ReadMe account to access and view documentation. You can set up authentication for end users, and that access is scoped separately from teammate permissions.
Set Up Authentication & Access
Teammates can sign in through ReadMe's hosted login, or you can route authentication through your own identity provider or OAuth server. Access controls and roles then determine what each authenticated user can see once they're logged in.
